Tucked away, but in the heart of the medieval town of Lostwithiel, sits Lime Kiln Cottage. It is ideally situated within walking distance of the many shops, pubs and award winning restaurants that the town has to offer. Beautiful walks can be had along the banks of the river Fowey which runs through the town and under the old packhorse bridge, or meander up to the 12th century Restormel Castle. Regular farmers markets and Antique fairs, and Auctions can be found in this busy little town. This is an ideal base for walking, golfing and exploring the Cornish coastline. This cosy cottage has a courtyard garden, with bench and table nestling amongst the old Lime kiln. The lounge has a log/multi fuel burner, sofa and dining table and chairs lovely for a romantic night in. TV/DVD and radio, CD player. There is a newly refitted country style kitchen with electric cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave. From the kitchen the stairway leads to the bathroom with WC, bath with shower over and basin. There is a large double bedroom with hanging space and a window with views to the river. The cottage is heated in all rooms by night storage heaters. There is ample off street parking. Come and soak up the history, relax and enjoy the surroundings.
